At BHRUT our first priority is the quality of care our patients receive. We operate two Emergency Departments (ED) alongside other acute services. We cover all the major specialties of large district general hospitals as well as a joint Cancer Centre with Bart’s Health NHS Trust, a regional Neurosciences Centre, and a dedicated breast care service at King George Hospital. General healthcare and cancer services are also provided to South West Essex, and specialist neurosciences services are provided to the whole of Essex, a population base of some 2.1 million.
