Department Name: Community mental Health, Integrated Clinical Care Stream

Position Summary:

A vacancy exists in the above unit for a highly motivated Registered Nurse with appropriate knowledge and skills to join our friendly and supportive team. The vacancy is open to Australian citizens, New Zealand citizens who hold a valid New Zealand passport, Australian permanent residents and those non-residents deemed by the Department of Immigration and Citizenship to be eligible to work in Australia only.

Selection Criteria

  • Personal integrity and demonstrated commitment to the Philosophy, Mission and Values of Mary Aikenhead Ministries and St Vincent’s Health Australia.
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Professionals Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Extensive experience working within a Mental Health Position as part of a multidisciplinary health care team
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, direct and co-ordinate high quality holistic care and services to support clients and carers within an allocated case load
  • Has undertaken and continues to engage in professional development
  • Excellent computer, written, and verbal communication skills, and effective interpersonal and organisational skills, including using an electronic medical record system.
  • A commitment to participation in clinical supervision.
  • Current unrestricted NSW Drivers Licence
