TTS Channels Technology is the organization responsible for the entire suite of client facing systems within Trade and Treasury Services. Responsible for the development and maintenance of internet systems such as CitiDirect BE, the Trade and Treasury Services flagship global platform that provides access to a broad range of cash management and trade services via the Internet, and CitiConnect providing API, Messaging and File services to corporate treasury clients.
 
Users leverage these platforms primarily for cash management and trade services that are available in over 90 countries, 135+ currencies, and 24 languages, allowing clients to gain great control over their cash positions by providing easy access to accounts and real-time information. Channels delivers banking services via multiple channels, desktop, mobile and tablet devices, API’s for system to system interactions as well as file and message based flows.
 
As the Global head of TTS Mobile Application engineering and a member of the Electronic Banking Channels Management team, the candidate have the opportunity to collaborate with the Product development organization to help shape, design and implement the use of mobile and alternate technologies in helping to continue to provide our clients with the ultimate customer experience.  The candidate will also be expected to develop and grow a team of talented and energized engineers across multiple geographies.


 
Primary Responsibilities:


• Collaborate with the Product Development organization to identify innovative technologies that bring value to present and future business challenges and work with both functional and technical teams to integrate these into new or existing solutions in a cost effective manner.
• Provide direction and develop the technical organization responsible for the delivery of Mobile Technical solutions.  Establish the optimal organizational structure taking into account the global nature of the product space and the career goals of the team members.
• Contribute to the overall direction of the Electronic Banking Channels organization.  As a leader on the team and a member of the management team you will be expected to think across the group and bring innovative ideas on solutions delivery, staff development and organizational design.
• Participate in the design, review and implementation of complex applications and solutions, using cutting edge or disruptive technologies.
• Conduct in-depth analysis and provide technical purchase recommendations on software products and libraries we use to develop the next generation of products.

Qualifications


• Creative problem solver comfortable with working in rapidly evolving and changing environment
• Must have knowledge of Mobile technologies.
• Proven track record in managing a Software Engineering organization consisting of multiple technologies, Java and .Net preferred, and disciplines across a number of locations
• Extensive experience in managing and developing teams across geographic locations is required.
• Experience in developing distributed systems making use of API’s, micro services or similar distributed technologies.
• Must have knowledge of Web Services (SOAP and REST).
• Must have strong negotiation and influence skills.
• Must have excellent technical written and verbal communication skills.
• Should have experience with Continuous Integration/ Continuous deployment using Agile(JIRA)  methodology using Bitbucket, Teamcity and Artifactory
• Experience in the financial industry ideally in payments, receivables, trade, and liquidity
• Extensive years of experience in a similar role
• A bachelor’s degree or post-graduate qualifications
• Experience working with innovative and emerging technology
