Position Objective:

The WorldLink Strategic Product Roadmap Manager is a role responsible for developing and  commercializating key straetgic new capabiliteis to deliver WorldLink's payment platform of the future.

 

The Product Management role will be responsbile for (1) creating  TTS cross-currency payments APIs to enhance our value proposition to eCommerce and traditional client types; (2) enhancing client billing capabilities to improve our client experience and support more complex pricing requirements; and, (3) transforming WorldLink's FX offering by seamlessly integrating TTS and Markets (FXLM) platforms. The role owner of the strategic product roadmap will also play a key role in developing WorldLink's business architecture for the future.

 

The successful candidate will provide transformational leadership to develop impactful solutions which offer WorldLink clients an enhanced client experiernce with sustainable and scalable platforms and processes . S/he will bring focus and agility to the delivery of rapid digitization and innovation, improving operational efficiency and empowering future compatibility for our customers.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:


• Set strategic vision and multi-year WorldLink  product roadmap for APIs, Global Billing and integrated FX systems, in tandem with global team and functional partners
• Identify and document requirements for rolling out API, Global Billing and FX systems by working closely with OandT, Client Delivery, Legal, AML, Risk, Compliance, and other key Global stakeholders; as well as with the Dublin Innovation Lab and  Citi Markets.
• Create and refine business cases to help drive prioritization, investment decisions and product development roadmaps, including alignment with Product Managers across the business and the TTS Investment Council
• Meet client needs by establishing forums to obtain and action meaningful client client feedback of the product offering
•Lead readiness activities associated with new capabilities, working across Markets, Operations, Servicing, Treasury and Balance Sheet management, and Implementations
• Develop required documentation and training to ensure preparedness
• Drive commercialization of RTP, including development of Pricing and Billing strategy, updated client agreements
• Build out and manage the PandL to deliver Revenue, Expense and Net Income Plan that maximizes profitability
• Create annual financial plan and re-forecast targets. Conduct or participate in monthly and quarterly financial reviews
• Define value proposition, competitive positioning, and distribution channels. Build out client-facing Product sales decks, white papers, demos and other client-facing materials to support Sales efforts
• Develop and conduct training for TTS Sales, Implementations, Account Management and Billing and Markets teams
• Develop market segmentation strategies and go to market commercialization plans
• Drive Marketing strategy with Solution Sales, Bankers, Account Managers and Product Sales partners as well as Regional market management team for product set.  Conduct competitive and market analyses to determine go-to-market strategies
• Ensure a strong control environment by optimizing risk/reward trade-off and adhering to all applicable laws
• Ensure product risk, compliance and audit standards and maintain pristine control environment

• Direct contribution to product commercialization, revenue growth and capability development for Citi’s premiere cross border payments solution through developing and delivering solutions for large and sophisticated global clients
• Development of deep knowledge on the operation of a multifaceted global product within Cash Management business (multiple payment types, multiple channels, 135+ currencies, embedded FX), requiring active engagement with critical end-to-end functions (operations, technology, service, implementations)
• Senior exposure across the TTS and Markets organizations as well as client contact through leadership on managing, communicating the new product capabiltiels; Development of deep working relationships with broad range of functional teams, including  Risk, Compliance, Operations, Finance, TTS Sales and regional product management teams.


Qualifications
 

Knowledge/Experience:


• Strong knowledge of transaction banking,  cross border payments and eCommerce
• Strong understanding and appreciation for APIs
• Demonstrated history of success in product development, by commercializing new products "on time and to specification"
• Extensive years of experience at VP or above level in a Cash Management, Trade or Securities Business is essential, either in business, risk, compliance, operations, or technology roles

 

 

Skills:

 

• Passion for managing all phases of product development lifecycle and developing detailed Business Requirements Document
• Strong quantitative and analtical skills
• Strong spreadsheet analysis and modelling

 

 

Competencies:


• Comfort with a fast-paced environment and ambitious goals
• Can do attitude and passion for new products and solutions
• Insightful, with passion to translate payments requirements into commercial opportunities preferred
• Excellent internal and external communicator and strong interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate complex details simply
• Knowledge of clients and markets preferred
• Excellent organizational and project management skills required

 

 

Qualifications:

 

• MBA or Graduate Degree Preferred
• Undergraduate Degree/Third Level Qualification essential
